About Dr. Brar

Growing up, Dr. Jasmeet Brar was surrounded by older family members who pursued careers in the healthcare industry. She always loved to learn about health and biology, but she was drawn to dentistry for the opportunity to make a lasting impact using both science and art.

Dr. Brar’s philosophy of practice is based on the pillars of comfort, education, and personalization. Making patients as comfortable as possible means both creating a relaxing aesthetic inside the office and educating them about what’s going on inside of their mouths. Dentistry can be a big and confusing world, so Dr. Brar skips the dental jargon and works to ensure her patients know she is their partner and ally in navigating these choices. It’s important to her that all patients feel confident and comfortable with the care plan they develop together—each patient has unique needs.

Dr. Brar sees the mouth as a window to overall health. A lot of research has been done connecting oral health to other systemic issues, so a patient’s dentist is a key member of the healthcare team. As such, patient education for Dr. Brar means taking the extra time to help incorporate preventive practices in dental health, too.

When more advanced treatment is necessary, Dr. Brar is proud that many patients say she provides some of the most painless and gentle procedures they have had. Patients rave about her caring nature and thorough explanations, taking the time to answer all questions, big or small.

The smile is often the first thing people notice about appearance. Dr. Brar believes excellent dental care can not only boost overall health but boost confidence by creating a beautiful smile. She strives for all patients to achieve their happiest and healthiest selves—starting in the mouth.

Personal Interests

Dr. Brar was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. She recently moved downtown and loves exploring the range of restaurants, live music, and farmers’ markets right in her neighborhood each week. In her free time, she reads books focused on personal development, tries new types of cuisine, watches movies, and spends time with family.
